Drone technology

Safer. Faster. Smarter.

TechnoClean Australia is a leader in drone cleaning technology, providing innovative solutions for window cleaning, façade cleaning, roof cleaning, and exterior building maintenance.

In 2022, TechnoClean Australia became one of the first companies to introduce commercial drone cleaning technology to Australia, helping transform the way buildings are cleaned and maintained.

While traditional cleaning methods rely on rope access, scaffolding, and elevated work platforms, our advanced drone systems offer a safer, faster, and more efficient alternative—reducing safety risks, minimising disruption, and lowering access costs.

Innovation in Every Clean.

The Tech Behind the Clean

TechnoClean Australia integrates advanced engineering, automation, and digital technologies into every project to deliver safer, smarter, and more efficient cleaning solutions.

  • Advanced drone cleaning systems
  • RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning technology for enhanced flight accuracy and stability
  • Propeller guard systems for improved operational safety around building façades
  • GPS stabilisation and precision flight controls
  • Live operational monitoring and cleaning analytics
  • Eco-efficient water delivery and purified water systems
  • CASA-certified drone pilots and compliant operating procedures

By combining innovative drone technology with decades of industry experience, we deliver consistent cleaning results with exceptional safety, efficiency, and precision, even on complex and challenging building façades.

The Right Cleaning Solution for Every Building

While drone cleaning offers significant advantages in safety, speed, and cost efficiency, not every building or surface is suitable for drone-only operations.

Factors such as surrounding trees, restricted take-off and landing areas, complex building geometry, overhangs, recessed façades, balconies, awnings, and other site-specific obstacles can limit drone access to certain areas. In these situations, TechnoClean Australia recommends a combined cleaning solution, integrating both drone cleaning and rope access cleaning to achieve complete building coverage.

By combining these technologies, we can maximise the efficiency and safety benefits of drone cleaning while utilising our qualified rope access technicians to safely access areas that are unsuitable for drone operations. This approach ensures that no area of the building is overlooked and that the most appropriate cleaning method is selected for each section of the project.

Our goal is not to force a single solution onto every project, but rather to provide the safest, most effective, and most cost-efficient cleaning methodology based on the unique characteristics of each building.

Introducing

TECHNOCLEAN CLEANING DRONE

The future of commercial, residential and corporate high rise cleaning.
A vastly superior, safer, faster, more economical alternative to cleaning and maintaining windows and facades of high rise and hard to access structures.

Slashes Cleaning Budgets Across All Applications

Commercial, corporate, industrial and residential strata maintenance budgets slashed with TECHNOCLEAN CLEANING DRONE. No more crews of cleaning staff working for weeks on one job, more efficient delivery of chemicals and disinfectant and speed of application means that your cleaning budget is never going to look the same. Saving you, and your clients like never before.

Safer

Drone cleaning significantly reduces the need for personnel to work at heights using rope access, scaffolding, elevated work platforms (EWPs), or building maintenance units (BMUs). By keeping operators safely on the ground, drone cleaning minimises exposure to fall risks and improves overall site safety. All TechnoClean drone operations are conducted by CASA-certified pilots and supported by comprehensive safety procedures, risk assessments, SWMS, and MOP documentation.

Faster

Drone cleaning enables large façade and window areas to be cleaned more efficiently than many traditional access methods. With rapid deployment and the ability to access difficult-to-reach areas without extensive setup requirements, projects can often be completed in a shorter timeframe, reducing downtime and improving overall productivity.

Minimal Disruption

Unlike scaffolding, cranes, or extensive rope access operations, drone cleaning requires a relatively small operational footprint. This allows building occupants, residents, visitors, and businesses to continue their normal activities with minimal interruption. The reduced need for access equipment also helps maintain pedestrian access and minimise disruptions to building operations, traffic flow, and surrounding areas.

Vastly Safer For Our Cleaning Staff And The General Public

It takes about 40 days to clean the Windows of a standard 50 floor skyscraper. TECHNOCLEAN CLEANING DRONE improves efficiency by a factor of five to ten as well as slashing the time it takes to effectively deliver disinfectant and the COVID safe sanitation to public outdoor arenas.

Reduced Access Costs

Drone cleaning can significantly reduce or eliminate the need for costly access equipment such as scaffolding, EWPs, cranes, and BMUs. By reducing setup times, labour requirements, and access-related expenses, drone cleaning can provide a more cost-effective solution for many façade, window, roof, and exterior cleaning projects while still delivering excellent cleaning results.

Solar / Wind Turbine Farms And Radio Telescopes

All these technologies require dust- and dirt-free environments to work efficiently, and their highly sensitive surfaces can only be cleaned safely using water filtered through Reverse Osmosis to remove all harmful particles and bacteria.

WATER TECHNOLOGY

IONICS V4 RO THERMOPURE Filtered to 0.PPM running 15 MEG

At Technoclean Australia we utilise one of the most advanced water filtering systems available on the planet and we insist on this for several reasons

To provide our clients with the best possible finish on any project particularly on glass and other non porous surfaces. By filtering out all of the minerals and bacteria inherent in almost all water through Triple Reverse Osmosis Technology. In addition to this our system provides Steaming hot water, stimulating surface grit even further.

Solar Panels / Radio Telescopes and other sensitive scientific Technology are extremely sensitive to ‘Hard Water’ and solvents. By utilising our drone technology and filtration system we are able to meet manufacturers’ requirements for cleaning and maintenance

Sensitive to our environment and our planet, Our system requires very little or no chemical solvents to achieve a brilliant finish. In addition to this we are able to minimise the amount of water we use on any job.

What is Hard Water?

The simple definition of ‘hard water’ is the amount of dissolved calcium and magnesium in any given volume of water, often measured in parts per million (ppm).Hard water is a very common problem, affecting water in more than 85% of the country. It is a result of the dissolved minerals calcium, magnesium and manganese. With increased occurrences of these minerals, it is becoming more important to understand the water you are working with and consuming.

What does ‘TDS LEVEL’ mean?

Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) are the total amount of minerals, salts or metals dissolved in a given volume of water.

Triple Reverse Osmosis

In the normal Osmosis process, the solvent naturally moves from an area of low solute concentration (high water potential) , through a membrane to an area of high solute concentration (low water potential). The movement of of a pure solvent is driven to reduce the free energy of the system by equalising solute concentrations on each side of a membrane , generating osmotic pressure. Applying an external pressure to reverse the natural flow of pure solvent, thus, is reverse osmosis. The process is similar to other membrane technology applications. However, key differences re found between reverse osmosis and filtration. The predominant removal mechanism in membrane filtration is straining, or size exclusion, so the process can theoretically achieve perfect exclusion of particles regardless of operational parameters suych as influent pressure and concentration. Moreover, reverse osmosis involves a diffusive mechanism, so that separation efficiency is dependant on solute concentration, pressure and water flux rate. Reverse osmosis is most commonly known for its use in drinking water purification from seawater, removing the salt and other effluent materials from the water molecules.
